P.E.T. Parent Effectiveness Training: A neuro-developmental approach

Location University of Calgary, Main Campus NW Calgary

4 Classes all evenings Tuesdays February 19, 26, and March 5 and 12, 2019, 6;00 - 9:00 pm


4 Classes split between evenings and weekends. Tuesday May 21 6-9 pm, Saturday May 25 1-4 pm, Tuesday May 28 6-9 pm, and Saturday May 28 1-4 pm 2019.

For parents of children ages 2 - 30 years

Suitable for graduates of communication-based parenting courses such as "How to Talk so Kids Will Listen," "P.E.T. Parent Effectiveness Training," "Terrific Toddlers," "Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting," "Gordon Neufeld Training," and "Non-Violent Communication". If you haven't taken these courses, register anyways and we will catch you up on the basic communication skills.

This course has neurobiological informed content based on parenting recommendations from Alberta Health Services, Canadian Pediatric Society, and P.E.T. Parent Effectiveness Training. It focuses on non-punitive, respectful, relationship-building parenting.

Provided by Professional Parenting. Instructor is Judy Arnall, BA, Certified Canadian Family Life Educator, Certified in the Brain Story course, and parent of 5 kids.
